Rescue from the Shelter

by Matthew Hovis

Ginger the Pomeranian was taken into the Medina County Animal Shelter as a stray a few weeks ago. She was quarantined for ten days, and screened for rabies after biting a shelter employee. The tests came back negative for rabies and she was posted on a national pet adoption website. On the day she was scheduled to be euthanized she was adopted by a lady and her son from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. We spent some time at the shelter on the day of the adoption.
